A bystander rescued a two-year-old boy and his grandmother after both became stranded in a lake in Chongqing, China, on April 17. The child had fallen into the water at a tourist area, and his grandmother jumped in to save him despite being unable to swim. A man quickly dived in and kept the pair afloat while bystanders on shore extended poles to pull them to safety. Both were brought to shore without serious injuries.
