Badain Jaran Desert sand Mountain Lake Group Inscribed on World Heritage List

INNER MONGOLIA, CHINA - MAY 15, 2020 - Deep in the Badain Jaran Desert, the landscape of Yekken Jilin Lake is seen in Inner Mongolia, China, May 15, 2020. On July 26, 2024, at the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in New Delhi, India, China's application of the Badain Jaran Desert sand Mountain lake group successfully passed the evaluation and successfully added to the World Heritage List.
