The project called Yongtaichuan draws water from Yindaruqin irrigation project in Gansu and transfers it to the water-deprived Jingtai County, through its 72.3-km-long canals. The project applies technologies such as dynamic monitoring, remote control and automatic flow and pressure control. It is expected to benefit farmlands of nearly 10,000 hectares.
