Crown prince, princess attend tree-raising ceremony

INAWASHIRO, Japan - Crown Prince Naruhito (C) and his wife, Crown Princess Masako, attend an annual tree-raising ceremony held in Inawashiro, Fukushima Prefecture, on Sept. 17. Some 7,000 people, mainly from the forestry industry and including Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Yoichi Tani, attended the ceremony, the 24th of its kind.
