FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation (HD), which will acquire Hitachi, Ltd.'s diagnostic imaging systems such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance tomography (MRI), as well as electronic medical record (EMR) related services, held a press conference in Tokyo on April 18, and Chairman Shigetaka Komori emphasized the significance of the acquisition, saying, "The healthcare domain is a market with high growth potential.
