Ex-Antarctic team member becomes farmer in Hokkaido

ASAHIKAWA, Japan - Yoshinori Yamakawa, a former member of Japan's Antarctic expedition team, takes care of melons on May 8, 2013 in Furano, Hokkaido. Yamakawa became a farmer in the spring of 2013 after moving to the city three years ago and learning about agriculture from scratch.
