Takeshima Day ceremony held, attended by senior gov't official

MATSUE, Japan - A ceremony is held in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, on Feb. 22, 2014, to mark the incorporation in 1905 of several islets known as Takeshima in Japan and Dokdo in South Korea. Yoshitami Kameoka, parliamentary secretary with the Cabinet Office, attended the ceremony to represent the government.
