Wada Shinto Shrine (Hyogo Ward, Kobe City) at Cape Wada is captured sometime in the early to mid-Meiji Period. Built by the feudal lord of Amagasaki, Aoyama Yoshitoshi, in 1662, the shrine is dedicated to the deity of the sea, and all the boats coming in to Hyogo are said to have visited here to pray for a safe voyage.
