Taiwan: Typhoon Podul Intensifies, Strikes Southern and Eastern Regions 4

Typhoon Podul strengthened as it approached Taiwan on Wednesday, August 13, unleashing strong winds and heavy rain across the island’s southern and eastern regions. Over 5,500 residents were evacuated, while train services were partially suspended and roads closed as precautions. The storm’s impact is expected to peak in the evening. This video shows the strong winds and rain wash the roof and the street in Taitung City.
