SOUNDBITE (Arabic): IBRAHIM AL-BARIDI, Artist STORYLINE: A contemporary visual art exhibition, which include 70 paintings of thread created by artist Ibrahim Al-Baridi, is being held in the Egyptian capital Cairo. The exhibition, named "Back to childhood," is held at Gallery "Note" in the suburb of Zamalek. All the paintings were inspired by a famous traditional operetta in Egypt, "The Great Night." SOUNDBITE (Arabic): IBRAHIM AL-BARIDI, Artist "Without using a brush, pen, colors or any materials, all the tools are scraps of cloth, scissors and threads, through the components of the Egyptian neighborhood, which characterizes from Upper Egypt to Lower Egypt."
