(230617) -- NANCHANG, June 17, 2023 (Xinhua) -- Zheng Danyi practices piano skills in her spare time in Nanchang City, east China's Jiangxi Province, June 14, 2023. Zheng Danyi, 31, visually impaired since birth, attended a school for visually impaired students and enrolled her in an electronic organ interest class where she learned to play music alongside children with healthy vision. Her passion for music was ignited from then on. In September 2017, Zheng Danyi became a piano teacher in Jiangxi Zhongshan Dance School. Due to the challenges that come with being visually impaired, she arrives early every day to practice and prepare for classes. She also works overtime at home to ensure that she can teach effectively. Nowadays, Zheng Danyi is also a volunteer piano instructor for a disabled art troupe once every half month.
