The Minister of Sustainability and Environment of the Junta de Andalucía, Catalina García, has visited this Saturday the Natural Reserve Laguna de Fuente de Piedra where the banding of about 600 flamingo chicks has been carried out, among the more than 22,700 that have been born this year, the largest number since records have been kept. This activity, which now totals more than 20,000 banded chicks, has been carried out successfully thanks to a device in which nearly 400 volunteers have participated, in one of the main actions of conservation, research and environmental education in Andalusia.
