Volvo has no plan to change Nissan Diesel's name after acquisiti

TOKYO, Japan - Leif Johansson, chief executive officer of AB Volvo, tells a press conference in Tokyo that the gorup has no plan to change the corporate name of Nissan Diesel Motor Co. even after the Japanese truck maker becomes its subsidiary. ''I don't see any reason why we should change that,'' said, noting that the Swedish company has a positive experience of benefiting from keeping the brand names of its group companies Mack and Renault in the U.S. and European markets.
