Kashiwazaki residents bid farewell to GSDF members

KASHIWAZAKI, Japan - Children in Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture bid farewell to members of the Ground Self-Defense Force who have completed their rescue-and-rebuild mission at Kashiwazaki and Kariwa, the two adjoining Niigata towns badly damaged by the magnitude 6.8 earthquake which hit the region on July 16.
