Advert for buying Defence Bonds in WW2 1941

Advert issued by The National Savings Committee, london. 'When the axis crumbles before the thunder of British tanks, will you be able to say. . . . I played my part to the full'. Buy 3% Defence Bonds. They have asked for total war and they shall have it! Be sure, when victory comes, that you have done your level best to help and nothing to hinder. Everything and everybody are needed for our fight - money spent on luxuries keeps goods and men serving you instead of Britain. We need MORE tanks, MORE aeroplanes, MORE destroyers - and MORE savings to help win the war. Date: 1941
