US: Recovery Efforts Continue After Plane Crash Near Washington, D.C.

The recovery effort continued Thursday morning, January 30, following the deadly midair collision and crash of an American Airlines plane and a Black Hawk helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport the night before. The American Airlines flight was coming from Wichita, Kansas, and had 60 passengers and 4 crew members on board. The Army helicopter was carrying 3 soldiers. All 67 people aboard the aircraft were killed.
