TOKYO, Japan - Japanese pop idol Namie Amuro and her husband Masaharu Maruyama, popularly known as SAM of the pop group TRF, have divorced, Amuro's managing office said on July 18. The 24-year-old pop star and the 40-year-old dancer married in October 1997. Amuro gave birth to a baby boy in May 1998. The photo was taken at the time of their marriage in 1997.
