Toyota Motor introduces new variety of lavender

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. puts a new variety of common lavender, Dome Blue, or Lavandula angustifolia, on the domestic market March 18, in its first foray into the flower business. Unlike common lavender, which normally grows in cold regions, the new variety can grow in hot and humid places.
