Unique surgery done to treat newborn with heart disease

KYOTO, Japan - Surgeon Masaaki Yamagishi, a professor of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, uses models in Kyoto, western Japan, on Aug. 27, 2014, to explain what he calls the world's first surgery to transplant part of the lung artery of a newborn to treat her incomplete "descending aort."
