The Japan Meteorological Agency reported that on Monday, January 13, at around 21:19 JST, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck the Hyuga-nada Sea off the coast of Kyushu Island, Japan, at a depth of 18.6 miles (30 kilometers). A tsunami warning was also issued for Miyazaki and Kochi prefectures. A tsunami of approximately 20 cm was observed, and the warning was lifted. The video shows a package shaking during the quake in a hotel room in Miyazaki City.
