The head and shorts of the 10-centimeter-high robot model is made of black diamonds, while rubies, emeralds and diamonds are used for other parts. The model, which is not for sale, is covered by jewels totaling 32 carats and is worth almost 100 million yen.

Okaya Heat Treatment Industry (Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture) has invested about 60 million yen to installa medium-sized atom nitriding system manufactured by Plasma Research Institute (Tenpaku Ward, Nagoya City). When hardening the surface of high-speed steel (HSS), etc., this equipment can perform surface nitriding treatment uniformly even on objects with complicated shapes, with almost no secondary compounds in the diffusion layer of nitrogen atoms.
