US: Power Outage Halts Operations at Denver Airport, Hundreds of Flights Delayed

A power outage struck Denver International Airport on Wednesday morning, March 18, around 9:20 a.m. halting the airport's train system and triggering a ground stop. Power was restored at around 11:00 a.m., with full operations resuming around noon. By 5 p.m., 544 flights had been delayed and nine canceled. This video shows a long line of passengers at Terminal B after power came back.

On September 18, 2023, in Hebei Province, northern China, a fluffy clump of fur lay quietly on the floor. When the owner lifted it, a dog's sleepy face appeared beneath, revealing that it had been napping with its head completely covered by its own coat. As the fur fell back down like a blanket, the dog drifted right back to sleep.

A dangerous firecracker accident was filmed on February 16, 2026, in Chongqing, southwestern China. The filmer ignited a bowl-shaped firecracker, which exploded and sent a sharp fragment flying forward. The piece struck the back of the filmer’s hand, causing a deep cut and heavy bleeding. The injury required medical treatment, and the filmer later went to hospital for bandaging.

A Chinese worship ceremony appeared to trigger a sudden mini tornado when burning paper offerings spiraled into the air without any warning wind. Filmed on February 25, 2026, in Lianjiang, Guangdong, the video shows ashes and flames suddenly twisting into a vertical column shortly after a traditional You Shen ritual ended. Residents had been burning paper ingots when the fire rapidly spun upward, forming what looked like a small tornado. The woman who recorded the scene, surnamed Huang, said the air had been completely still moments before the ashes violently lifted off the ground. The swirling column gradually weakened, and the burning paper fell back down as the air returned to calm.
