Dangerous snow squalls and sub-zero temperatures continued to lash Ontario and Quebec on Tuesday, December 30, after high winds and freezing rain left tens of thousands without power a day earlier. Environment Canada issued widespread weather warnings from eastern Ontario to the Atlantic region, as blowing snow caused hazardous road conditions and travel delays.
