Mt. Fuji seen from Numakawa,Tagonoura

Mt.Fuji seen from Tagonoura. The bridge near the present Numa and Suzu Rivers. The person watching the rickshaw and travelers may be a boatsman. Mt. Fuji seen from Kawai-bashi Bridge,Suzukawa

The former shogunate territory located on the left bank of the River Usui, with the Suzu River facing Suruga Bay. The photo is beautifully structured with Mt.Fuji and a pine boulevard, wooden bridge, thatch-roofed house, boat in the river and boatsman. Lake Chuzenji

The Nikozan Shrine of Chuguji on the north bank of Chuzenji Lake. Along the lake stands huts of religious ascetics. Due to the 1902 avalanche of rocks and earth, the Kannondo in the centre of the photo and huts to the left of the torii were destroyed. Going down the Hozu River

When the river bends, one side is sandy beach and the other is steep mountain. The photo shows a boat with a simple roof coming downstream, taken from further down the river.
