Paris 2024 - Olympic Cauldron Draws Massive Crowds

The Olympic cauldron, resembling a hot air balloon, made its debut during the opening ceremony at the Louvre's Tuileries Gardens and has since become a major attraction for both TV viewers and in-person visitors. Standing at an impressive height of 30 meters (100 ft), the cauldron has been made accessible to the public with up to 10,000 free visits daily. Due to overwhelming demand, slots for visits are fully booked until August 11, prompting organizers to consider adding more visiting times to accommodate the interest.
