China: Excavator Scoops Water From Pond to Contain Loader Fire

On October 16, 2025, in Guangdong, located in southern China, a dramatic rescue unfolded near a construction site. An excavator scooped a full bucket of water from a pond and rushed toward a nearby loader that had caught fire. The operator skillfully poured the water over the burning vehicle, instantly covering the flames and sending up thick smoke. The quick action prevented further damage.
