The tomb of the Seventh Shogun Ietsugu which was located to the north of Bunshoin. The Chokugaku Gate had bronze roof tiles and was cornered with Chinese-style bargeboards, and the sides have Chinese-style gates with four legs in chidori bargeboards. Dragon carvings can be observed on the pillars. This is the bronze gate in front of the pagoda in the deepest part of Bunshoin Mausoleum. Two dragons, once ascending and one descending, are cast on the panels on the walls on both sides of the gate. Gates were built for the tombs of five shoguns in the north mausoleum, but this is the only one made of bronze.
