Clement Attlee

Clement Richard Attlee, 1st Earl Attlee (1883-1967), Labour politician and Prime Minister, pictured in uniform during the First World War. Attlee saw action at Gallipoli, Mesopotamia and finally France in 1918 during the conflict, rising to the rank of Major. Date: c.1917
