CHINA-ANHUI-THAILAND-BANGKOK-MONORAIL TRAIN

(231214) -- WUHU, Dec. 14, 2023 (Xinhua) -- This aerial photo taken on Jan. 10, 2023 shows monorail trains running in Wuhu City, east China's Anhui Province. Manufactured by China's CRRC Puzhen Alstom Transportation Systems Limited and operated by Thai agencies, the monorail "Yellow Line" commenced commercial operations in July. The Pink Line began a public trial run on Nov. 21. Both monorail lines feature cost-effective driverless trains with lower construction costs compared to conventional subway systems. The China-made monorail trains provide ease of transport for people traveling between the suburbs and the center of Bangkok and inject new vitality into the development of the city. In recent years, Wuhu, east China's Anhui Province, has stepped up efforts to build an industrial cluster of transportation.
