Sanrio, Warner to co-brand Hello Kitty, Tweety products

TOKYO, Japan - A new brand jointly developed by Sanrio Co. and Warner Bros. Consumer Products features Sanrio's feline character Hello Kitty (R) and Warner's canary character Tweety (L). ''It is probably the first time ever that two companies have agreed on a full-fledged project to develop products featuring their respective characters,'' said a Sanrio spokesman Nov. 15, 2001.
