A woman wears her hair combed up in baimage style. This hairstyle is a late Meiji Period version of the hair combed-up high in a coiled and round shape that was popular in the late Edo and early Meiji Period. She sits attractively in a kimono with chrysanthemum flower designs, holding a long tobacco pipe.
