A massive fire engulfed Borsen, the historic old stock exchange building in Copenhagen on Tuesday morning, April 16. Onlookers stood by in shock as the 17th-century building went up in flames. The iconic building was being renovated and houses the Danish chamber of commerce. According to reports, all the occupants were able to evacuate. This video shows the spire collapsing and crashing to the ground as the fire continued to burn the structure.

TOYAMA, Japan - These ''gassho-style'' farmhouses in Ainokura, Toyama Prefecture, are covered by a one-meter layer of snow on Dec. 13. The houses, which were registered on the World Heritage list in 1995, feature thatched gable roofs that slope down at an angle of 60 degrees. The roofs help the snow to slip off and prevent the houses from collapsing.
