Gov't commends ballerina for winning Benois award

TOKYO, Japan - Ballet dancer Mariko Kida (R) gets commendations from Cultural Agency head Masanori Aoyagi in Tokyo on Aug. 7, 2014, for winning this year's Benois de la Danse competition in the ballerina category in May as the first Japanese to receive the prestigious Russian award.
