Thursday February 6, 2025, the Bordeaux administrative court of appeal rendered a decision in favor of the Mémoires et Partages association which demanded that the city of Biarritz change the name of the “La Négresse” district, judging it “sexist” and “racist”: the “La Négresse” district will therefore have to change its name.
