A coworker of Amara Dioumassy came to protest during a CGT gathering about 'deaths at work' in the context of World Day for Safety and Health at Work taking place in front of the French National Research and Safety Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents and Diseases (Institut national de recherche et de securite, INRS) in Paris, France on April 25, 2024. According to CGT statement: “In France, according to social security, an employee dies at work every 3 days. These are not the “risks of the profession”, but rather the consequences of employers' quest for maximum profit, with disregard for health and safety.
