The DS-SAR satellite blasted off from the first launch-pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC)-SHAR located at Sriharikota in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh, said the space agency. It added the DS-SAR satellite was developed under a partnership between India, Singapore and ST Engineering, a multinational aerospace company. The satellite will be used to support the satellite imagery requirements of Singapore government departments, while ST Engineering will use it for multi-modal imagery and geospatial services for its commercial cust
