Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupted again on Tuesday, September 2, sending lava up to 330 feet (100 meters) into the air from its summit crater. This marks the 32nd eruption since December, all contained within Halemaumau Crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Lava emerged from multiple vents, including the north, south, and a central vent. Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, is on Hawaii Island, about 200 miles south of Honolulu.
