Chen Zhengxin was born in Yunlin County, southeast China's Taiwan. In 2001, at the age of 18, Chen began his study at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. After graduation, Chen chose to stay in Fujian. He and his father found that the flower market in the Chinese mainland had great potential, so they stayed in Xianyou County of Fujian Province and focused on the planting industry. Ye Liqing, wife of Chen Zhengxin, is a native of Xianyou County. The couple saw great potential in jabuticaba, a fruit originating in South America, and decided to start their own business with it. One of them is responsible for the management of fruit trees, while the other in charge of sales. At present, their jabuticaba planting base covers an area of more than 2,000 mu (about 133.3 hectares), producing more than 200 ton
