Water purification system using Cova Technology's silver ion technology

Koba Technology (Higashi-ku, Hamamatsu City) has developed a water purification system (photo) that applies its unique silver ion technology. It can produce 200 liters of water per hour for domestic use from sewage water from rivers and other sources. Then, after sterilization in two tanks containing silver ceramic balls of 6 mm and 2 mm in diameter, the reverse osmosis membrane filter removes even the smallest particles. The deodorizing effect was also confirmed. The device is small, with a tank capacity of 100ml, and can be carried by a light truck. The price, excluding consumption tax, is 2 million to 2.5 million yen. It is expected to be used for bathing and toilets in times of disaster, as well as for cooling water in factories. HAKODATE, Japan - Photo on Jan. 20 shows new deodorant that harnesses the power of bacteria to eliminate odors. The deodorant was jointly developed by Aki Kogyo, a construction company in Hakodate, Hokkaido, and Yoichi Kadokami, a guest lecturer at the University of Wyoming in the United States, after it was noticed that a strong deodorizing effect occurs when charcoal is soaked in wood acid liquid, a by-product generated in charcoal manufacturing.
