International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - Madrid

This march has been called by the Foro de Madrid Contra la Violencia a las Mujeres (Foro 25N), which organizes it every year since 1997 on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, under the slogan 'Unidad Ciudadana y respuesta a la institucional' (Citizen Unity and response to institutional violence). The aim of this march is to call for the "unity" of society against male violence and to demand that the public authorities act "more effectively and in a more decisive manner".
