Persistent fog and overcast skies across Madrid and Vigo caused significant travel disruptions this Thursday, January 8. Dense morning fog at Peinador Airport forced a Madrid-bound flight to divert much further than its usual alternative in Santiago, ultimately extending the journey for frustrated passengers by more than three hours.

A major fire broke out in the cargo bay of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Saturday, October 18, while a passenger plane was sitting on the tarmac nearby. The statement said that "air traffic has begun to return to normal, allowing us to resume operations on this route."
