During the period from April 1 last year to March 31 this year, the country shipped over 1.6 million tons of beans and pulses via marine routes, while exporting over 157,409 tons via land borders, the ministry's figures showed. Myanmar mainly exports black grams, green grams, pigeon peas and many others. Among them, the black gram was the top earner, bringing in over 724 million U.S. dollars in the cited period.
