The dramatic moment ended on a reassuring note as the pair reached safety together.

As the elevator doors opened, a pet dog entered, but its elderly owner either deliberately stayed behind or failed to get on in time, leaving the dog alone inside as the doors closed. As the elevator descended, the dog's leash became caught in the door, pulling it upward and leaving the dog dangling from the ceiling in a dangerous position.
