US: Evacuations Ordered As Borel Fire Rages In Kern County, CA

The Borel Fire, a fast-moving wildfire that broke out on Wednesday, July 24, along Highway 178 east of Bakersfield in Kern County, California, burned more than 31,000 acres as of Saturday. The fire forced evacuations and road closures in the surrounding area and destroyed multiple homes and other structures in Havilah.
