China: Electric Vehicle Rolls Away After Elderly Man Gets Out in Anhui

On February 3, 2026, in Anhui, eastern China, an elderly man was preparing to leave for work in a small electric vehicle when it suddenly began moving on its own after he got out. He chased after it but tripped and fell before bystanders helped him up. The man eventually regained control of the vehicle.
