China: Woman Saves Husband From Electrocution Using Bucket of Oil

A woman in Jinhua, Zhejiang, China, saved her husband from being electrocuted on September 25, 2025, after he accidentally touched a live electrical line while checking the line. Acting quickly, she grabbed a bucket of oil and threw it at the wire to break the electric current.

KYOTO, Japan - A dead bear is taken to a Kyoto police station Sept. 6 after it was likely electrocuted on a mountain road in northern Kyoto. Police said the bear might have bit a high-voltage cable as its mouth was charred and a poll near where it was found dead had scratches on it.
