Footage captured on December 7, 2025, in Sichuan, China, shows a encounter during a self-drive tour as a tiger sprints after a vehicle, repeatedly lunging and biting at the rear of the car inside the predator enclosure. The vehicle's driver maintained control and kept moving forward while the large carnivore pursued, despite no visible items on the car attracting the animal.

China: Chimp Returns Kiss From Visitor at Heilongjiang Zoo

On October 13, 2022, in Qiqihar, located in northeastern China’s Heilongjiang province, a heartwarming yet amusing scene unfolded at a zoo. A young woman leaned toward the glass enclosure and kissed a chimpanzee through the barrier. The chimp responded with excitement, pressing its lips to the same spot several times.

China: Tigress Carries Cub Back to Safety in Henan

On July 19, 2025, in Puyang, Henan, a tiny tiger cub — not even a month old — crawled out of its enclosure to drink water. Before it could take a second sip, a tigress quickly appeared, eyes sharp with concern. She gently picked up the cub in her mouth and carried it back into the cage to keep it safe.
