A Polish man, Marcin Banot, was spotted climbing the Globant Tower in Buenos Aires without any safety equipment on Tuesday, June 11. A rescue group managed to intercept him and place a safety harness on him. According to local reports, Banot is an influencer who carries out this type of risky activities and shares footage of his exploits on his Instagram account. He also attempted to climb the same building last Friday.

Mayol, a frequent visitor to Japan, was known as the ''human dolphin'' for his underwater exploits in the field of free diving, and reached a depth of 101 meters in the Mediterranean in 1976.

Japanese manga artist Takao Saito, the creator of long-running series "Golgo 13," died last week of pancreatic cancer, publisher Shogakukan Inc. said Wednesday. He was 84. Saito, who died on Friday, was best known for the series, which follows the exploits of a highly skilled assassin. First published in 1968, it was recognized by Guinness World Records as setting a new record for volumes when its 201st volume went on sale in July.
