The video was filmed in Changzhou, Jiangsu on May 26, 2024. The man used a shovel to lift the electrical wire, preventing it from falling to the ground and posing a danger to passing vehicles and pedestrians. One of the witnesses Mr. Wu recalled the touching moment in an interview, mentioning that a heavy rainstorm unexpectedly broke out, causing a branch to snap and bring down an electrical wire. She also said that when the electrical wire was broken, some nearby shops experienced power outages.
