US: Flash Flood Hits Durham, NC Days After Tropical Depression Chantal

Several parts of North Carolina experienced severe flash flooding on Wednesday, July 9, as a strong line of thunderstorms moved into the region, just days after Tropical Depression Chantal brought intense flooding to Chapel Hill. The Durham Fire Department responded to multiple calls as a result of flooding across the city and surrounding areas, including rescue operation.

'Blue' rose perfume from Suntory

TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows a gift set featuring the world's first blue rose and a perfume of the flower's scent that Suntory Flowers Ltd. will sell for around 10,000 yen from March 30, 2010. The company under major beverage maker Suntory Holdings Ltd. said March 25 that it is aiming to sell 1,000 gift sets by the end of June in the country's three major business centers of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
